Diving is an exciting and fantastic activity that can be practiced by everyone, anywhere in the world. It follows that regulators, being the most important piece of equipment to a diver, need to adapt to an enormous range of different environmental conditions, individual breathing behaviors and personal preferences. Therefore, SCUBAPRO offers a large choice of various first and second stages which can be combined to make up numerous kinds of regulator systems.

Some of these systems will work more efficiently than others depending on diving conditions and diver behavior, as their mechanisms and designs teamwork better together. To support your decision in choosing the right regulator, SCUBAPRO has proposed selected systems which fulfill the needs of different ranges of diving and environments perfectly. Our systems are classified by our second stages and names X-Series, S-Series, and R-Series.

The X-Series represent systems for x-treme conditions and environments and is x-emplary of x-traordinary performance, especially in cold water conditions. The S-Series is s-ynonymous with superior air flow characteristics and supreme performance. The combinations offered in the S-Series are our best selling systems worldwide because they best meet the needs of demanding dives and divers. The R-Series represents real recreational systems that are particularly noted for their legendary safety, reliability and all round robustness.

X650 / MK17

X650 Second Stage

Based on the renowned D400, this one of a kind second stage includes a unique valve design and offers x-tra performance. The X650 represents the X-Series that is considered to be the best performing second stage of the SCUBAPRO line due to unparalleled ease of breathing and x-traordinary air flow characteristics.

Balanced coaxial flow valve. This unique design directs the airflow straight to the divers mouth and prevents any loss in performance. The airflow is effortless and instant on demand independent of the cylinder pressure and in the most controlled manner.

20% less exhalation effort than other Second stages. A new and wider exhaust valve minimizes exhalation effort more than any other second stage.

For extreme conditions and environments. Together with the x-treme performance, precision moulded, lightweight components and anti freeze materials resulting in high corrosion resistnace and x-cellent cold water performance.

New Adjustable inhalation control. To quickly increase or decrease inhalation effort and fine-tune the second stage to any diving condition including cold water environments.

Dive/Pre-Dive control switch. VIVA in the MAX position is a powerful breathing support. In conditions of cold water, strong current of buddy dreathing VIVA should be reduced to avoid free flow.

Big soft purge and oversized controls. Easy to find purge and oversized control functions facilitate handling even with thick cold water gloves.

X-traordinary valve positioning and compact size. Less jaw fatigue due to streamlined shape and lighter weight.

S555 / MK17 System

S555 Second Stage

A powerful all rounder, an air balanced high performance second stage. The ideal choice for a diver wanting a high performance yet simple to operate second stage remarkably durable and reliable in cold water. The redesigned look for 2006 also includes technical iprovements, a new diaphragm design fo optimized performance and reduced maintenance requirements.

Air Balanced flow valve. Increases safety fun and relaxation on every dive, because it initiates airflow effortlessly and instantly on demand, independent of the cylinder pressure.

Precision moulded lightweight components and Anti Freeze materials. Improved corrosion resistance and cold water performance.

Diver adjustable VIVA.

R395 / MK25 TIS 2 System

R395 Second Stage

This classic downstream 2nd stage in a redesigned 2006 look and fitted out with technological improvements for better airflow properties. The R395 is also available as an octopus.

Classic Downstream valve. Esteemed for many years for its reliable performance due to the robust design and low maintenance.

Diver adjustable VIVA.

Reversible attachment of low pressure hose. Your Authorized SCUBAPRO dealer can change the R395 to a right or left hand 2nd stage or octopus system.

Compact size and lightweight materials. Increased comfort and reduced drag during the dive.
